August 17th, 2010

Last Tuesdays we were at the Butler Farm Show, Butler PA in front of our home town crowd. To start our first of 6 pulls in 7 day for PPL. We were the test puller and made two hooks. The second hook was a little better than the first leaving us in 7th place.

Thursday we headed to New Martinsville WW, for a two day show. That night the show was threatened by rain. After gardening of the track and a short delay we got to pull. With the starting line greasy and the far end dry we had a good pull ending up 7th. Friday there was no rain. We were the test puller and had to make two runs after the sled was reweighted. We came back and got another 7th.

Saturday was Waynesburg, PA where we had a good pull leaving us with our 5th straight 7th place finish.

Sunday we headed up to Ashtubula, OH for a NW & PPL pull. Again we were the test puller. On the first hook the truck starts to bounce and I had to back out of it. The second hook was much better till a rear u-joint failed putting leaving us with an 8th place finish. This dropped us to second in NW points with only 1 pull left with NW this season.

Monday we went to Washington, PA for PPL. We had a nice pull ending up with a 7th Place finish once again.
